Cathryn is a London based composer and producer, creating emotionally driven music across neoclassical piano, folk, ambient soundscapes and cinematic orchestral scores. Three of her scores for short films are currently in festivals. Her self-produced album THE LEMON CAKE SOCIETY features highlights from her score for the short film. A multi-instrumentalist and classically trained violist she's performed with The Richmond Light Orchestra, regularly writes folk songs on guitar and often begins her compositions at the piano. 

 

Training first as an actor in London & the USA (Mountview, The New York Film Academy) uniquely shaped her approach to composing -- collaborating closely with directors to create music that amplifies their storytelling. In 2024, Cathryn was selected for The Creative Technologies Project by The F-List and The Guildhall School of Music & Drama, mentored by Katie May, Head Engineer at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios.
