
CATHRYN BELL: BIO
Cathryn Bell is a London-based composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist who creates emotive scores, blending classical tradition with contemporary electronic production.
Drawing from her background as a classically trained violist and actor (Mountview, New York Film Academy), she approaches composition through a cinematic lens. Collaborating closely with directors to craft organic emotional scores that enhance narrative storytelling. Genres include: neoclassical piano, folk, ambient soundscapes and cinematic orchestral scores. Influenced by her Irish heritage, Cathryn's music often draws on folk traditions and organic live instrumentation, with compositions beginning at the piano.
​Her self-produced album The Lemon Cake Society features highlights from her score for the short-film. The album is available on Spotify, Amazon & Apple Music.
